Self- Development and Menopause: Will You Be Ready? Six Factors to Tell
Do you sometimes enter a room and wonder what brought you there? They call it “brain freeze”. It’s like momentarily entering a no-memory zone. It happens to me. Chances are it happens to you, too. Sometimes I look for my mobile phone while I text. These last couple of years I’m also starting to have night sweats which are just unbearable. It’s actually this sudden surge of body heat which convinced me I’m in, congratulations to me. This is menopause (yes, already) at its early stage. Okay, let’s call it peri-menopause. Whichever way you call it, symptoms are the same.
If you are also starting your own menopause journey, welcome to the world’s largest most unorganized club. We are running by the hundreds of thousands daily and the amount of heat we generate is enough to start a new global warming. That is why for me, it’s a big question why we don’t talk about menopause more often. It is either we regard it as just a silent passage where everybody goes through and then come out without making noise.
